Wausau, WI – November 4, 2008 – Stone Office Group, Wausau-based commercial furniture company, recently announced the achievement of Installation Manager Mark Meurette and Lead Installer Bret Hanson for successfully completing the Herman Miller University Installation Certification Workshop from October 28-30, 2008 in Holland, MI.
Certification in the Installation workshop entitles Meurette and Hanson to train other installers on the installation methods for Herman Miller’s systems furniture line. The workshop detailed installation of systems furniture lines including MyStudio Environment, Resolve and Ethospace. The workshop covered the different products while teaching techniques on installation, installation teaching methods, and product histories.
The ultimate goal of the course is for installers to be able to complete installations faster and reconfigure systems furniture lines with fewer issues. The workshop was held at Herman Miller’s Holland, Michigan “Greenhouse” factory facility and the Herman Miller Main Site in Zeeland, Michigan. Hanson and Meurette also toured these facilities during their time at the Herman Miller site.
